Dear participants!
You are probably are already following the news as well as our social media accounts, on pins and
needles [as we are], to find out what is going to happen next week.
As these are volatile times, we are contacting you now to inform you about the newest COVID-19
restrictions that are going to be implemented in Vienna starting on the 15th of November
2021.
Please keep in mind that these restrictions might change and that these changes are
unforeseeable.
Starting from Monday, 15th of November, Vienna is going to implement 2G+ rules for
night-gastronomy
and events comprising more than 25 people. Therefore, these rules also apply to us. 2G+ means that
people have to have an additional valid negative PCR test to their vaccination/recovery
certificates. Otherwise, they are not allowed to enter night-gastronomy or events.
This means, that to participate you will have to have a PCR test additionally to your
vaccination/recovery certificate. PCR tests are valid for 48 hours. A positive note is that PCR
tests are for free in Austria - independent of their nationality - and easily doable. You can
sign-up at Lead-Horizon. There you will
receive a barcode that allows
you to pick up eight "Gurgel Tests" that are PCR tests.
Usually, you will receive the result within 24 hours.
We are going to be providing a gargel test to each participant on the arrival. The tests come in a
blue box and everything that you need is already in there. Before opening the test, make sure you
visit Lead-Horizon , where you´ll have to follow the instructions
while getting tested, so that your results are valid. Everyone is required to record themselves
through this website while doing the test in order for the authorities to be sure that you´re doing
it right. If you don´t have an insurance in Austria, don´t register but rather continue as a guest.
After doing the test, you will need to drop off the box at the nearest Billa,
and wait for the results. If you happen to arrive before the check-in time
(15:00h), make sure you contact us, so that you can do the test even earlier. Also,
FFP2 masks are MANDATORY in Austria!
We know that this is unfortunate. Therefore, we would like to offer you to contact us in case you
would like to change your participation from on-site to online. Should you do so, we are going to
refund the difference.
Furthermore, please also inform us that given the above-mentioned situation whether you can
participate on-site on Wednesday and Thursday.
Despite these negative updates, we are sending you a ton of love from Vienna and we are looking
forward to seeing you next week in Vienna :)! Also, should you have any questions please do not
hesitate to contact us. We are happy to help and discuss any concerns you might have.
Stay healthy and see you in Vienna!
